First up our man Justin Jones drew this for the shop and it's now out and about and available as a rad sticker.
Second up some footage of shop rider Liam Russell at the House skatepark. This was (badly) filmed by me on the Saturday evening after our Mischief night road trip. The clip has been edited by Crooked Souls.
Thirdly and finally Ronny was has a little interview about the shop over on Writers Tailblock.
Yeaaaaaah north-eastern road trip to go to Legacy's mischief night.
Hire car. We got upgraded from compact to intermediate sized car, this thing started with a button and you could open the locked doors without using a key as long as you held the key fob, it freaked me right out.
Ash stayed up all night playing x-box and then went to work for 7am.
Not long after being at Legacy we heard loads of sirens outside. The fire brigade we out in force breathing apparatus on knocking on the door of some blokes place a couple of doors away. Didn't see any fires and they didn't break the door down, it passed 10mins though.
Toasting the shop
Team photo shoot
After everyone met up we convoyed over to R-Kade in Redcar. I didn't take any photos because I was too busy skating and filming. The Sheffield visitors smashed it though. Edit coming soon.
After skating we had a choice of taking it easy at Liam's house or hitting up a dodgy club in Nothallerton.
Liam's house it is. His Mum had tidied up for us and when we got back at about midnight went and drove 10 miles to a 24 hour shop to buy us ingredients for a bacon sarnie before bed and a full English breakfast the next day. Cheers Liam's Mum.
90 on breakfast duty.
The shop on Saturday morning.
Original Danny Calowgraf.
Sheffield in Darlo. Who is actually from Sheffield though?
After having a lie in, getting some breakfast with my girlfriend and milling about for a bit, Tubb and I decided it would be a good idea to get out for a skate. The weather was real good. We set off from the house, turned onto Eccy road and started skating into town. Traffic was busy so I stuck to the left hand side thinking I could undertake the cars at the lights. A middle aged cyclist in full racing gear begins to overtake me and ends up riding just in front of me (on the right) at around the same speed, so I look up. He looks back and says 'come on'.. I presume he's asking me to follow his slip steam through the cars so I start to tail him. He then sticks out his left hand, so I grab it, he puts on the gas and tows me all the way down the road! At the Permona I let go, mutual thumbs up and he's gone.
There just aren't enough people about like that dude!
